ShineReveille hosts screening series
Foreign buyers will get a look at 'Easy,' 'F.A.T.'
The decision follows May's truncated L.A. Screenings, which had fewer pilots to offer international buyers because of the actors' strike earlier in the year.
Last week, Tom Toumazis, exec VP and managing director of Disney-ABC Intl. TV, said the Mouse House was thinking of doing a Euro roadshow in September to make sure foreign buyers saw its product before the fall TV season (Daily Variety, June 4).
ShineReveille screenings will take place the week of Sept. 8 at Princess Prods., a Shine Group company, in central London.
Among shows that will be screened are: "Surviving Suburbia," about a family whose seemingly idyllic lifestyle is anything but; reality producer Craig Piligian's "In Harm's Way," about people who work for society in dangerous jobs; "Valentine, Inc.," about a PI specializing in matters of the heart, which preems in September on the CW; "Easy Money," written and created by "The Sopranos' " Diane Frolov and Andrew Schneider, airing on the CW this fall; "F.A.T. City," about the Fugitive Apprehension Team, premiering February on the CW; and "The Goode Family," an animated satire about contempo families in a politically correct era, created by Mike Judge, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky for ABC .
