Banff festival sets honor for Cattrall

Kim Cattrall will receive the NBC Universal Award of Distinction at the 29th Banff World Television Festival.

The lifetime achievement nod will be presented June 9. Cattrall will discuss her career at a session June 10 with Bill Carter from the New York Times.

The Canuck TV fest runs June 8-11.

Cattrall will next be seen onscreen in "Sex and the City" and is also in helmer John Boorman's "The Tiger's Tail." Both go out in May.
