The fete honored designer Marc Jacobs, subject of Sundance Channel's whimsical doc "Marc Jacobs & Louis Vuitton." There were more than a few empty seats at the Tribeca Grand screening, but once the party began, it teemed with the likes of Anne Hathaway, Ellen Pompeo, Josh Hartnett, Lil' Kim, Natasha Richardson, Allison Janney, Tommy Hilfiger and Sundance CEO Larry Aidem.
A blue-haired Jacobs swung by briefly before slipping away quietly as the party shimmered on. Slinging a red PanAm bag over one shoulder, he exited solo, on foot, into the night.
