The storied venue has hosted a wide range of Hollywood and Broadway celebs, but it will house the Acad's official Oscar party for the first time on Feb. 24.
The Carlyle has been an Upper East Side landmark since 1930; composer Richard Rodgers was its first tenant.
The party will open with cocktails at the Cafe Carlyle, with dinner and a screening of the 80th annual Academy Awards telecast to follow in the recently redesigned Trianon suite.
